Offering teenagers anonymous access to reliable sexual education and reproductive health advice. Designed for inclusivity, ensuring privacy and security.
In Uruguay, teenagers face significant challenges in accessing reliable health information. While the cultural landscape does play a role, the primary issues stem from the abundance of unverified information available on the internet and the difficulty teenagers have in discussing sensitive topics with their parents. Furthermore, obtaining an appointment with a gynecologist can take time, and underage individuals often need their parents' assistance to schedule such visits. Social media platforms also contribute to the spread of misinformation, making it even more difficult for teenagers to find trustworthy advice.
To address these challenges, we have developed an inclusive health and advice app specifically for girls, women, and individuals with female reproductive systems. Our app aims to provide these individuals with the support and information they need during their developmental years.

Our app is designed to support girls, women, and individuals with female reproductive systems in Uruguay, with a particular focus on teenagers. These individuals often face unique challenges and pressures that can make accessing reliable health information difficult.
Our app provides a safe, inclusive, and anonymous platform for users to seek advice and information,
addressing their specific needs and concerns.
We have developed a user-friendly health advice app that offers easy access to validated health information. The app includes features such as phone consultations with doctors, allowing users to ask basic questions and receive professional advice.
Our goal is to make health information accessible and understandable, ensuring that users can easily find the information they need without the barriers they currently face.
Upon registration, users provide their age, sexual orientation, and gender. This information helps tailor the content to their specific needs and preferences. Users can explore a wide range of topics relevant to their health and wellbeing. Additionally, they have the option to call and speak with a doctor for further advice. All interactions within the app are anonymous, and no personal data is recorded, ensuring users' privacy and peace of mind.
Inclusivity and privacy are fundamental principles of our app. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all genders and sexual orientations. The app's visual and textual language is crafted to be welcoming and non-judgmental, making it a safe space for all users. Also, by not recording personal data and ensuring all interactions are anonymous, we prioritize users' privacy and security. Our app is designed to be a judgment-free zone, where users can seek advice without fear.
All content within our app is validated by medical professionals, ensuring that users receive accurate and trustworthy information. Our team of doctors provides answers to users' questions, ensuring the advice given is reliable and medically sound. While our app serves as a valuable supplement to medical consultations, it is not intended to replace them.
The Uruguayan market presents a unique opportunity for our app. With high smartphone penetration and internet usage among teenagers, there is a growing demand for inclusive health resources. Our app addresses this need, offering a reliable and accessible platform for health advice. This initiative arises from our concern to help in these issues, and although the project has not yet been officially launched, we are evaluating collaborations and ways to make it a reality. We believe there is also potential for expansion into other regions with similar challenges, further broadening Gina’s impact.
